Taking it back to pen & paper

Yesterdays Maths lesson with Tape Measures group, we looked at finding a fraction of a number. We started by going over our knowledge of fractions and how we solve problems like what is 3/4 of 24? Our group did really well and solved that easily. They were then modelled the steps to solve problems like the one shown in the presentation below. It was quite handy using pen and paper as it made it easier to manipulate numbers and writing fractions. Take a look at our hardworking group and don't forget to leave us a comment!
