Santana's 6 Photos

WALT: Identify keywords in order to summarise a text.
In room 5 literacy we are learning to identify keywords in order to summarise a text. We summarised the 6 photos we read about in the text. Then had to take our own 6 photos with a summarised description about them.

Hineragi's 6 Photo's

As part of Aces groups' create task, they had to think of 6 places around the school which held fond memories. They then took photos of these places and wrote a short description of their memory at each place.

Fruit Salad Art!

As part of our topic this term "Te Wā Toi" Art Time, Kings and Queens reading groups read a text called Fruit Salad Art by Jan Maguiness. They thoroughly enjoyed the art activity at the end and of course eating their left over fruit!
